PRIOR SUBMITTING A MANUSCRIPT AUTHORS ARE REQUIRED TO BECOME ACQUAINTED WITH THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IN THE LINKS BELOW

Authors are asked to number manuscript pages (in bottom, right corner).

FIRST TIME USERS SHOULD READ THE FOLLOWING STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING A MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION:

1. Create an account - click on the word “Registration”, HOME page; in the navigation bar at the top of the page and enter the requested information.
2. Upon successful registration author receives a confirmation email with an assigned used ID and password.
3. “Log in” on HOME page.
4. Paper submission on HOME page – “add manuscript” (the navigation bar at the top of the page))
5. Fill all fields
6. Filled form and a manuscript can be submitted by – “send manuscript”

Supplements:
Title, summary, key words should be provided in Polish. It is important to select “a corresponding author”.
a) field: Text
– upload text from a hard drive in MS Word file format (one file containing text and tables)
b) field: Attachments
– attachments such as figures, maps, illustrations and pictures upload from a hard drive in file formats MC Excel, JPG, TIFF
– use “add file” if a manuscript contains more that one attachment

Attention:

If any of the fields is left empty or filled with wrong information, the system will inform about it.

Manuscript submission creates and automatic respond confirming this action to all provided emailaddresses.

The correspondence regarding the reviewing and editing process is sent to a corresponding author indicated at submission.

Clicking the [Editorial] button opens: [Send], [Manuscript], [My data] options.
Clicking the [Manuscript] button allows to look at manuscript/manuscripts and check a status.
Opening a submitted manuscript allows to see a summary, key words, review files (when applicable), text file and attachments.

Each file added by authors is given a name.

The button [My Data] contains the following information: language: email and mailing addresses. Author can update this data any time after logging in.

Attention regarding correction

• It is the author responsibility to read the review and return corrected material within 3 days after notification of availability
• Not returning the material within the required time will result in publishing a paper as it is.

GHOSTWRITING and GUEST AUTHORSHIP

All authors of a manuscript are responsible for its content including appropriate citations and acknowledgments, and must also have agreed that the corresponding author has the authority to act on their behalf in all matters pertaining to publication of the manuscript.

Authors are expected to adhere to the highest ethical standards and avoid plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and other questionable writing practices, and ghostwriting or guest authorship.

• ghostwriting happens if a person who contributed into a manuscript is neither included as co-authors nor recognized in acknowledgment

• ghost authorship i.e., individuals who contribute to the research, data analysis, and/or writing of an article but who do not satisfy the requirements for authorship. Examples of ghost authors include medical writers and employees of pharmaceutical or device companies who have not made a substantial contribution to the overall design and execution of the experiments.

The author submitting a manuscript is fully responsible for authorship and accuracy of information.

The PPP will record any misconduct, ghostwriting and guest authorship cases and will report it to employers, scientific and publishing associations etc.

Publication Fees
The publication fee (accepted) is PLN 400.
